PPG Ups the Ante for AkzoNobel

If 'friendly' offer is rejected, things could get ugly.

Some folks just can't take no for an answer. After making a nearly $29 billion unsolicited bid for AkzoNobel, PPG's board said things could get hostile if the rival paint maker won't accept PPG's latest offer.
